What’s new in this version?

Windows 7 (x64, x86), Windows 8.1 (x64, x86), Windows 2012 Server (x64) and Windows 2012 Server R2 (x64) are no longer supported.

For the new functions license/software update, license report view, action history view, alarm view and dashboard view, a license of the new add-on product ibaManagementStudio+ is required.

New Features

With this new version, the remote license update via the web client is possible for MARX dongles and WIBU license container. For a MARX dongle update an installer file is necessary. For a WIBU license container updates the file-based procedure could be used, or, if the ibaManagementStudio Server has an active internet connection, the update can be done via the license gateway.

An action history with license and software update events can be viewed on the system page as well as on a separate action history page.

A new dashboard view as an alternative to the folder content view is available.

The new landing page is the new alarm page (if the add-on product ibaManagementStudio+ is available) which shows the system which are not connected or which are not in the right running condition.

New license report is available with the ability to group the license information by containers or licenses and then export it to Excel.

Important Improvements

For the installation of the ibaPDA Client ibaManagementStudio uses the option to shut down instances automatically (requires ibaPDA v8.5.0 or higher).

In nearly all grids, the sorting, searching, and filtering functions are enabled.

An additional 'Software components' column was added to iba software product information page to group iba products (ibaPDA and ibaCapture).

'LAN' and 'WAN' connection mode were renamed to respectively 'server-initiated' and 'agent-initiated' communication mode.

Bugfixes

Incorrect disk IO load values would be reported if multiple logical disks were partitioned on the same physical disk.

Server status application: Attempting to open the log file while it did not exist would result in an unhandled exception.

Web client: Disabled translation by third-party tools (e.g., Google Translate™ translation service) as this could result in web client crashes.

Web client: The web client would crash when opening a hardware information tab for a system where multiple logical disks were partitions on the same physical disk.
